The seedlings were untangled and transplanted. They looked quite sad initially, but perked up once they got back into the familiar environment of the garage. I will have to harden them off carefully once they're ready to plant. Only 2 more trays to go!
We moved in to our house in the Oak Hill neighborhood of South Austin in April of 2008. The home was built in 1976 with a full size tennis court on the 1.25 acre lot. We immediately removed the old court in order to reclaim the space for gardening. I grow veggies in raised beds, antique and a few modern roses, drought tolerant plants and whatever else catches my eye in the nursery. I also like to bend rebar into useful shapes and arbors for plants to climb. I garden organically with lots of compost!
